Based in Sycamore, Alabama, AmeriBolt was founded in 2005 to provide better service to fastener distributors in the Southeast and Gulf Coast United States. Since then, AmeriBolt has expanded five times and is now working with fastener distributors in all 50 states plus Canada and Mexico. AmeriBolt’s products are exported to the Caribbean as well as Central and South America.
Initially, AmeriBolt’s focus was all-thread studs involving alloy steel, stainless steel and the associated hardware (hex nuts, flat washers, lock washers). AmeriBolt has added multiple categories of heavy-hex bolts and cap screws including: ASTM A193 B7, A193 B8, A193 B8M, A193 B16, A320 L7, A193 B8 Class 2, A193 B8M Class 2, A307B, A325, A490, A354BD (Grade 8), Hasteloy and Alloy 20 among others.
In 2012, AmeriBolt opened its forging department and expanded its production and fabrication facilities. AmeriBolt is now hot-forging heavy hex nuts to meet ASTM A563, ASTM A194 2H, A194 Grade 7, A194 Grade 4, A194 Grade 8, A194 Grade 8M, plus square nuts, and heavy hex bolts in a variety of materials including: ASTM A193 B7, A193 B16, A320 L7, A193 B8, A193 B8M plus A193 B8 Class 2 and A193 B8M Class 2.
In 2010, AmeriBolt’s quality program became ISO 9001: 2008 certified. AmeriBolt’s products have been supplied to large oil refineries, nuclear power plants and major U.S. construction projects. AmeriBolt can meet customer requirements for 100% domestic material, as well as requests for specific country of origin restrictions, DFARS or other material requirements and specifications.
AmeriBolt joined the LoneStar Group in 2016. LoneStar Group's manufacturing capabilities and customer approvals combined with AmeriBolt's commercial relationships and strengths will provide customers with more compelling value propositions and diversified offerings.
