LSFE Raise £1000 for NSPCC

Christmas is about giving and spreading a little joy... and when it comes to giving, at LoneStar we always like to ensure we give as much as we can to worthy causes, especially during the festive period. 

Every year, LoneStar Fasteners Europe host a Christmas Raffle amongst staff with all proceeds raised going to a nominated charity. This year’s chosen charity was NSPCC, the leading Children’s Charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands.

With more than 50 great prizes up for grabs, the employees of LSFE dug deep into their pockets to buy tickets and contribute towards the charity, as well as increase their chances of winning some of the amazing Christmas goodies on offer.

Having sold tickets across the whole business in the weeks building up to Christmas, more than 1500 were purchased by the time the raffle was drawn on Tuesday 23^rdDecember 2014.   

The array of prizes was numbered and corresponding tickets were placed into a separate hat. Employees across the business were selected at random to pick the winning ticket as well as a prize.

In total, the Christmas raffle raised over £1,000 for NSPCC. This is a great achievement and we are thrilled that our donation will help children rebuild their lives and protect them from future risk.
